about

My journey into sculpture began in my childhood in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where I was born on November 4th, 1988. A somewhat lonely and introspective child, I found solace in theater, music, and especially the plastic arts. My imagination breathed life into elves and fairies, which I shaped with my hands from moldable materials, and over time, my creations filled our home. As I matured, sculpture evolved from a playful hobby into a vital source of refuge and expression. Craving formal training, I joined the sculpture workshop at The Cuale Cultural Center in Puerto Vallarta as an adult. This foundational experience enriched my skills, eventually leading to exhibitions at the local naval museum. Although my career took a detour into communication sciences at The University of Valle de Atemajac, the lure of sculpture remained. Despite being consumed by stages and cameras for years, my connection to sculpture persisted, driven by a lifelong compulsion to create. Now, with time and artistic fervor on my side, I'm reengaging with sculpture, fueled by the same passionate desire to craft and endure.
